The descrption states that the resort overlooks undeveloped beach. Is there beach acess for children to play in the sand? How convenient is it to get to the beach?

It is very easy to walk to.A highway with crosswalk is all you have to cross. Nice place to visit. Look for a GO SAN DIEGO CARD-I used this a ton.
