why are the sales prices so much cheaper than buying directly through the resort. I was offered a foreclosure but the prices on redweek.com are still significantly cheaper. Why?

I think the sale prices on redweek.com are cheaper because the resort does not buy back units from owners. If an owner wants to sell a unit they have to find a way to sell it on their own so there's an incentive to make the price more affordable.

The prices also reflect whether or not the special benefits are included. Usually, the full benefit package is only available through purchase at the resort.
