Are there any hidden fees or obligations renting a timeshare?

Normally not, but there are some resorts that charge a surcharge for electricity, mainly in the Caribbean ... Disney resorts charge a user's fee (I believe around $90) when checking in. However, normally the amount listed in the rental ad is the total amount charged, but I would email the owner just in case with your question.

I would also ask if it is an All-inclusive resort as they can be expensive. You could look it up on this site or another to see if it is an all-inclusive.
