rental car

we will be staying at the Mariner's the end of May. Do we need to rent a car or are there restaurants to walk to? Thanks. JC

There are plenty of dining and retail shopping options within 5-15 minutes' walk from Mariner's Boathouse, and a trolley stop is just across the street, offering $1 per-person per-ride access to the entire Ft.Myers Beach/Estero Island community. Cab fare from the RSW airport is under $100 (about 40 minutes travel time).
