How often does Marriott exercise this action. I noticed a unit at Cypress Harbour in Orlando sold for under $3K on ebay. Would Marriott let this go through or buy the unit back for the purchase price ??

They are exercising ROFR less and less in this down economy.

Marriott are only interested in some resorts, mainly the European ones.

I have heard that Marriott can't afford to exercise FROF at resorts where too many units are on the market --- loan interest and inventory holding costs aren't trivial and represent a business expense on the books. Since it seems Marriott has more inventory than they want right now, they are not exercising FROR, would rather just happily collect their annual MF, at least most of their domestic US properties.
