St Kitts is a very poor island (Jamaica or DR) with extremely friendly people. The resort is super, food shopping should be limited to the IGA. For fresh seafood (fish and lobster) to cook in the room, call Bossie at 663-5944 or 763-1413 and tell him Pete from Virginia said to give him a call. Lunch at the Spice Mill is a must. We rented a car from Avis to drive around the island, they offer free pick-up and return to the Marriott. Don't worry about the speed limit, the pot holes will not let you go too fast (roads are in terrible shape). To sum it up, we had a wonderful time and are glad we visited St Kitts but once around the island to see the sights was enough. Not much else to do and see. We do not plan to return anytime soon.
