If they ask for an upfront fee, then they're a scam .... all they want is your credit card # and your upfront fee then all of a sudden the prospective renter will disappear or they can't come up with the rent, but your money is NOT refunded to you by these scam companies.
YES! Shady Business Practices. You want to deal with them you need to get ready to get scammed in serious ways, risking losing all your money invested in the property you want to sell. Be aware of the connection between Timeshare Broker Services, Timeshare Closing Services, and SMTN (SellMyTimeshareNow), all interconnected businesses.
