Hyatt Vacation Club free upgrade transferable?

Does anyone know if the original benefits such as free upgrade on trade is trasferable to a new owner. Hyatt told me if I bought directly from them in a Gold season I would get a Platinum upgrade for free though the Hyatt Club. I am about to buy a resale Key West Windward Pointe porperty. I am wondering if the that feature is transfered to the new owner.
