Any information on a company called Resort Developer Solutions? I see comments on Resort Solutions, not sure this is the same company or not. They are asking for $498 up front. They claim to sell the property using the same method that was used on me. Free gifts for listening to a proposal.

Again! Never, ever pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or cancel your timeshare.

By the way, what was the "method that was used on (you)"?

If it was the typical timeshare sales presentation, then the person doing that has to be a licensed real estate broker/agent. Legally required. And if he is legitimate, he will take his fees out of the proceeds of the sale after closing. Not before.

Has anyone heard of a company called Approved Property Management? They say they have a company that wants to buy my Mayan Palace units, and they will take 5% AFTER I am paid...... Any suggestions on verifying their legitimacy?

It's a good probability that they WILL ask for a large upfront fee before you get paid ..... play along with them to see and if they ask for that large upfront fee then don't go any further.

$498 is a very common up-front fee charged by marketing companies. The offer to sell is likely bogus. They are in business for the upfront fee. Not to sell your timeshare. There is a reason these types of companies are getting shut down all the time.
