When Should I Advertise My Timeshare Rental

My husband and I own a timeshare at Vacation Village Parkway in Kissimmee, Florida. Our Week is 42. Odd year. Our checkin day is on a Friday. We would like to rent Oct. 18, 2013 thru Oct. 25, 2013. As of today, these dates are available. We have not received our maintenance fee bill yet. We should receive it in October and it will be due by January 2013. Do we need to go ahead and make the reservations for these dates to lock them in. Then try to rent them out. If so will our maintenance fee have to be paid first in order for us to make the reservations.

It's never too early to post your ad no matter what the start date is. Oct is considered off season in Orlando as USA kids are back in school, however we owned a week 42 at Orange Lake because we preferred the cooler temps and less humidity at Disneyworld .... there seemed to be many international people/families there at that time.
