I have heard that a number of restaurants close down for a while after Labor Day, is this correct? Anything else to be aware of or recommendations on what to do and see.

Sanibel Island is a best place for spend vacation. So i will be there soon,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I think some places close during September but they pick back up after a bit.
This is a great place to find shells! Wonderful area to vacation!
