This is my first time trying to rent my Timeshare and I have a question about maintenance fees. For those who have rented and for those who have posted your rental, do you include the maintenance fees in you price?

I do not pay yearly maintenance fee. I pay Maintenance fee only if I use my week.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciate it

Thank you

The person renting from you probably could not care less what the maintenance fees are. He is only interested in getting the best deal. Your mission is to price it competitively and attractively.

Think of it this way. Let's say the fees at that resort are $800 per unit-week and I want to rent from an owner there. You advertise it for rent at $900 because you are determined to recover your maintenance fees as well as advertising costs and a few bucks for your troubles. Another owner just wants to recover at least a portion of his maintenance fees because otherwise, it might go to waste. So he advertises it competitively at $700. Guess which one I'm going to choose. Do you think the amount of the maintenance fees will matter to me at this point?
