Can I deactivate my ad and reactivate it later?

I don't know about that but you can edit an ad to change the dates, size unit, dedcription etc do long as it's within the 6 month period

Yes, you are able to deactivate your ad and then reactivate it for no additional charge as long as your posting has not expired.
