Portugal Timeshare laws

My first post.

Does anyone know the situation where a timeshare company starts renting out the unsold timeshare weeks to all inclusive holiday makers?

We bought sixteen years ago and the timeshares were completely separate to the apart hotel. Now we find the hotel has gone AI and the timeshares are now rented to all sorts of drunken idiots who have no respect for the timeshare owners or anything else.

We pay for everything. Electric, safe deposit plus of course our annual maintenance. The AI’s get everything and are paying less than we are.

Is there any condominium law which would help us in this case? It’s not just us - we have many timeshare owner friends who have the same issue. They’ve even had empty beer cans thrown from the apartments above them and rowdy drunks shouting and swearing late at night.

Obviously we will be speaking to the manager but I guess they are more interested in making money than rectifying the issue.
