NEW DAILY RENTAL TAX in MAUI

since when does MAUI charge ADDITIONAL rental tax to units owners rent out????? We are ALREADY paying taxes out the ears for all things. $21 dollars a day for a 2 bedroom unit ON TOP of the DAILY tax owners are already paying........no wonder most of our friends are going elsewhere!!! Taxing the Tax next????? Is this just Maui or ALL Marriott/BONVOY properties?

I think it will be tough for the taxpayer to pay their tax daily basis.

Maui is nickel and dimeing us to death. Soon they will be going through the cushions of my couch. They want over $100 per night for my one bedroom.
