Have the villas been remodeled?

According to the front desk at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, the villas have not been remodeled and there is no plan for a remodel at the resort within the near future.

I just spoke to the front desk and they said all the rooms have been renovated

The Phase 1 (Beach Villas & Tower) units underwent renovation in 2014. Contract holders were informed of the activity, the assessemet fee and the overview of what was to be done by letter (April 4, 2013). After the 2014 renovation to Phase 1 the Phase 2 buildings' renovation began. So, as of this time (2020) those renovation activities are, of course, complete.
