While Burnt Church Distillery is worth a visit, it's not even on Hilton Head Island (it's over 7 miles off island in Bluffton)! Also, other great Italian restaurants are Michael Anthony's, OMBRA Cucina, Pomodori and Nunzio Restaurant + Bar.

For real good basic southern style seafood, go to Sea Shack. It's a local place, not pretentious. Good on the pocketbook.
