The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North

What is the current state of the resort?

A number of recent Google reviews are very subpar. The North Villas are currently rated last place hotel to stay on Trip Advisor. Can anyone comment? Have the conditions and service gone downhill to such an extent?
