The main pool is actually three pools separated by water steps. One of the pools is designed for smaller children and is pretty shallow with fountains for children to play in. There is also a fun water slide that children/adults can use which connects that pool and drops you into the lower pool, which is a little deeper. Additionally, by staying at the Hyatt Residence, you receive a wristband that grants you access to the Hyatt Regency pool next door which offers a much larger child play pool with slides and activities. We just returned from an April 7-night stay and a Toyota Corolla (Avis) through Costco Travel ended up with all the local charges after returning it with a FULL tank of gas: $840. Next time we will use the taxis because parking off-site is very scarce (unless you like Wendys). (stevee319)

We have a reservation for 7/28 thru 8/5 for a Ocean View. We are traveling with our 2 grandkids ages 3.5 & 1.5. Years old. Which building should we request to stay in. As of Feb. 2024, MMOC was still selling unlimited refill mugs at the Marketplace-To-Go. The cost was around $48 per mug. Good for free refills of coffee, hot & cold tea, 4 fruit juices, various sodas, ice water. A great deal if your are staying a week or longer. (cays2)

Pine building, if you can, it has a shorter walk to the beach than the Maple building. Plus, the Woodsy pool is more kid friendly for wee ones. Avoid the top floor(15) because the balcony has no cover and it gets brutally hot in the sun. That makes your balcony unusable. Years ago, you could get a crib from the resort. Covid stopped that. Call the resort for recommendations. We are arriving the day before you leave. Hope we run into you. If this is your first time, this is a. wonderful place for families!! The best one for kids that we have stayed at. The activity center is filled with fun things for kids to do (terryl408)

in my experience, the answer is yes. The resort staff are very friendly and are unlikely to give you hard time over this. We used to stay in rooms rated for up to 4 with our family of 5 when the kids were little. I would bring an inflatable mattress of have the youngest sleep with us in the king size bed. (taniaw17)
