We have stayed here before in 2005...thinking of purchasing an October timeshare week....I know this is 'hurricane season'...but is the weather otherwise decent this time of year? Agree...you can't beat the location...the condos are dated but, location, location, location! (juliea353)

Yes, it is possible. Sometimes owners arrive late for their reserved week or leave early, resulting in an empty condo at the beginning or end of their week. Most Redweek listings are for 7 days (Fri. to Fri., Sat. to Sat. or Sun. to Sun.). However, Redweek listings will sometimes show 1 - 6 days available for rent. (cays2)

If you want a great view it’s not that difficult to get it. Rent an Oceanfront condo. If you are not to demanding about which of the 5 buildings you want to be in, then you are very likely to get pa great view. (frand62)

Pretty much what you actually bought were points. For example, If you bought a specific condo such as the Presidential Suite, it is worth 300 points. You can opt to rent your week out OR use your points at another PB Resort, but you cannot do both. Your timeshare contract should explain all this. Read it carefully. (christinab459)

One, 2 & 3 bedroom condos in the two newer Lahaina & Napili Villas have in-unit washers & dryers, along with full stainless/granite kitchens. Studio (the Lock-off/guest bedroom) guests can use the free washers/dryers located on every other floor in the newer Villas. Guests staying in the original MMOC towers (Molokai, Lanai & Maui) can use the free commercial washers/dryers & new steamer located at the base of the Lobby elevator stack --a short distance from the 3.5 acre super pool. I called the Kierland Resort and Spa # about condo renters using the Lazy River/slides at the hotel. I was told I had to rent through the Resort to use these facilities, that third party rentals (?) had to buy day passes to use the Resort special pools. This seems in conflict with the above note that villa renters have full access to the "kids activities such as the pools". What is the correct answer? (carol1442)
