Depending on the unit (we have an assigned unit) and the foliage growth (recent storms or trimming) then the view is more or less straight through to the ocean. Virgin Grand units are up on the hill and largely have ocean view due to the elevation but the trees (filled with iguanas!) can make it somewhat obstructed. (shannonh391)

I hope you did not travel by yourself- a requirement is to have someone else on board to anchor on each side of a swing bridge while they swing the bridge and someone else pilots the boat thru. And, I don't believe you could have purchased another boat as anything before the end of September is high season and the kids are still out of school and I found the prices a half again what I paid for the maintenance and exchange fee.
