We LOVE the pool. It is not deep - at most 5 or 6 ft, but it is long for swimming "laps" and has the most outstanding views in Princeville. The hot tub is wonderful. The landscaping is beautiful. There is live music at the lobby bar/restaurant overlooking the pool and the music is GREAT most nights, but the pool doesn't usually have live music. The resort does host activities at the pool sometimes, like I've been to a wine tasting, Mai Tai evening, craft/lei making, and live ukelele local singer. (rosanat9)

Always try and get Oceanfront. Ocean view can be back a bit and might require you to go on to your patio / balcony to see the ocean. Oceanfront is full on view looking over a few palm trees ( truly breath-taking). You can leave your windows open at night to clearly hear the ocean surf on Oceanfront. (herbertt15)

Dec 2019: Islander restaurant at LaCabana open for bf, lunch and dinner. Islander has live music nightly 4-7pm during dinner (we eat by pool) and remember sunsets around 6:15. You can also order LUNCH and drink ON THE BEACH and servers bring it to you and charge your room with your paper card. Dinner reservations at Los Ramblas overlooking beach as it fills quickly. Cinnabon & coffees in the lobby and convenience store (mini 7-11) near casino has fruit, yogurt, dutch cheese, snacks, wine & beer, etc and is open late. WALK to restaurants next door: Italian and Peruvian food and Gelato next door at Paradise (pink building) or at Mangos at Amsterdam (Golden yellow building) and dinner at Passions (on the beach). Valet has sublet a number of parking spaces at a nearby garage and also has a limited number of parking spaces at the Custom House. It is valet parking only at $48 a night. As an alternative, we leave our car at one of the subway “T” parking garages located on the edges of Boston….generally for less that $10 a day. Then take the “T” back to the “blue line” stop directly in front of the Custom House. The “T” currently has an unlimited weekly pass available for $22. (jamesy27)
