Compared to other resorts I have stayed at, Villa La Valencia's food was excellent! But more variety, including healthy options, at the breakfast buffet. Poolside for lunch also has light, fresh options. (amyd757)

We’ve stayed in a 2 BR at both Villas I and Villas II. One of Villas has a vestibule entry with a separate entry way from the vestibule to the studio and a separate entry to from the vestibule to the 1 BR. The studio and the 1 BR are only connected in the vestibule. The other Villa 2 BR had a door that opened from the studio directly in to the 1 BR. Which Villa has the vestibule entry? Thanks. One, 2 & 3 bedroom condos in the two newer Lahaina & Napili Villas have in-unit washers & dryers, along with full stainless/granite kitchens. Studio (the Lock-off/guest bedroom) guests can use the free washers/dryers located on every other floor in the newer Villas. Guests staying in the original MMOC towers (Molokai, Lanai & Maui) can use the free commercial washers/dryers & new steamer located at the base of the Lobby elevator stack --a short distance from the 3.5 acre super pool. Gulf front rooms are on the part of the building directly facing the beach and gulf. When you walk in the door, you see the entire beach and gulf outside. The gulf front rooms I've stayed in have had windows and balcony access directly viewing the beach, from the center living area and from both of the bedrooms on each side of the living area. Gulf view rooms may be on the side of the building, so you can see a partial view of the gulf as well as a view of another area such as the swimming pools. Both views are beautiful! (alesciab)

My wife and I own oceanfront villas. In my opinion, one of the key factors is the floor that you are staying on. Over the years, trees have grown, so with oceanfront villas, the trees may block the view of the water if you are on a lower floor. Similarly, if you are assigned an oceanside villa that is on a lower floor, you may also be too low to see the ocean. The decision may be what you plan to do when you are there. If you spend most of your time "out and about" or at the pools, etc, then the view from the room may not be as important than it may be for those who prefer to relax on the deck and enjoy the view. We are currently (Oct 2025) staying at Surf Club. Construction is ongoing at all three Marriott properties - Surf, Ocean and Stellaris Hotel. Ocean pool is closed, staging lifts and ropes along outside, they are replacing roof….yes there is significant noise. Surf club lighthouse tower lower floors being renovated now- constant jackhammer sound during daylight hours loud at pool BUT not audible when on beach. Hotel seems to be worst for noise having crews working almost round the clock. I was told the renovation is behind schedule so crews were working longer hours. If you are looking for peace and quiet, I recommend you delay your trip to at least December. Just my opinion🌴😎 (janeller25)
