Yes if you buy into Marriott properties you have one of the most flexible timeshares. In over 20 yrs of ownership I have never needed or even wanted to use other agencies (such as Interval International) - but have stayed in Hawaii, Virginia, San Diego , and more. They are very helpful in getting you to were you would like. (valm69)

I have been going to this property for over 20 years and have stayed in both Villas I and II. Villas I are larger and much nicer. There is more activity for kids on the Villas II side which can also make it a different experience. It is wonderful having access to the spa and facilities at the hotel as a Villas I member since the gym is much larger and the spa beautiful. You also have access to the pools etc at Villas II if you so choose. I would recommend Villas I for its options over Villas II any day. (julies866)

The main pool is actually three pools separated by water steps. One of the pools is designed for smaller children and is pretty shallow with fountains for children to play in. There is also a fun water slide that children/adults can use which connects that pool and drops you into the lower pool, which is a little deeper. Additionally, by staying at the Hyatt Residence, you receive a wristband that grants you access to the Hyatt Regency pool next door which offers a much larger child play pool with slides and activities. Oceanside I will never ever ever ever ever book again. It’s floors 2 and up and floor 2 is the first floor of rooms at surf club on the side of bldg and people are walking by your damn room. No view of ocean only loud pool screaming children! It was THE worst villa I’ve ever had at any Marriott property ever and I’m an owner and was staying 2 weeks and 2nd week they moved me to THAT from an ocean view. Ocean view is floors 4 and up. Unless you have small children, or don’t like privacy and don’t mind having absolutely zero view plus keeping the shades drawn all day and night don’t book an ocean side! I even put in a request for higher floor villa in person and went over everyday before check in from the ocean to surf club to verify my request. (amandaf277)
