Pretty much what you actually bought were points. For example, If you bought a specific condo such as the Presidential Suite, it is worth 300 points. You can opt to rent your week out OR use your points at another PB Resort, but you cannot do both. Your timeshare contract should explain all this. Read it carefully. (christinab459)

I agree with Iris above. South building has nice straight hallways like a hotel. The North can be a concrete maze. I owned in the North and bought another in the South. Views are trully Ocean Front in the South in the North most are at an angle. Maintance fees in the South are larger. If you are a hang at the pool or pool bar person than you might like the North. The statement that in Jan 2021 Marriott will remove all resorts in II & no longer able to exchange through II is completely false. There is nothing from Marriott or MVC about this..I spoke to a Interval International rep and they have heard nothing about this. There are lots of Marriott owners that have weeks that they bought resale & trade through II. You can buy a resale and add it to II. You can then use the resort, trade it through II or rent it. I'm an owner at Sunset (which I bought on this site four years ago), you may be best off signing up for the all-inclusive once you arrive. If you're willing to sit through one of the presentations, you can get $400 +2 bottles of tequila and maybe a blanket for three days of the all-inclusive. Go into town as the restaurants are great.
