The Swallowtail complex is 1 mile from the Sea Pines Beach Club beach. From early Spring to late Fall, there is a trolley that stops across the street and makes it very easy to get there and back. There is also a parking lot at the beach club that you can access, but in the summer months, there are a limited number of parking spaces available for anyone who is not a full-time property owner, which we are not as timeshare owners. There is also full-time, year-round access to Tower Beach for Swallowtail owners. This beach is private, very nice, and less crowded. It's about 2 1/2 miles from Swallowtail, closer to the South Beach area of Sea Pines. Regarding gate pass access to Sea Pines, as an owner, you will enjoy access to Sea Pines, and will be able to pick up a Sea Pines gate pass upon arrival, just outside the main gate at the Sea Pines Welcome Center. The pass is free to you as an owner. There is a $100 assessment that has already been approved for next year. None others are in the works. The units, roofs, siding, grounds, interiors, etc. are in good repair. Directly across the street from Swallowtail is the Sea Pines Center, and there is a bike rental concession there. There are also many other bike rentals locations in and out of Sea Pines, and delivery and pick-up is offered by these services. I am a huge fan of Swallowtail and love coming to Hilton Head every year so, YES, I would purchase again. Compared to renting, it's quite a bargain. The location is fabulous. The units are spacious. And once you own, you can count on having a great vacation every year. (davidn429)

Most of the time, Black Flag warnings are posted on the beach due to Rip Tides. However, there are 7 heated pools on the property including 2 infinity pools (overlooking the Sea of Cortez), an activities pool, a pool with a swim-up bar, and a kids pool with water fountains and slide. (davidl2085)

The Grand Luxxe has a full menu of activities like relaxing to Tibetan healing sounds, Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, and various arts and crafts. You should take in the Lake Show at least once: every half hour there's a display of lights, fountains and other effects timed to music. There are so many options. The ever-present "Joy Squad" has activities scheduled at every hotel and pool, including mixology classes, bocce tournaments, and even a daily swim-up Blackjack game. Off-site excursions like whale watching or deep-sea fishing can be arranged through Vidanta's concierge as well. Don't forget to check out the Lake Show, an amazing display of lights, fountains, special effects, and music every 30 minutes after sunset, with a unique show each time. (kyliec)

Phuket Beach Club property is directly on the beach. We have visited 75% of the Vacation Club properties and this is by far our favorite. It is wonderful and is on an 11 kilometer beach with almost no properties on it. Truly a gem on the Andaman Sea. (jeffn259)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). Beach chairs are available for free for guests with no umbrellas. The ones on the beach with umbrellas are rentals from the lifeguards but reserve asap if you're in the busy season (June-August) as they go fast. Sea Pines Beach Club next door also has the orange chairs and umbrellas for rental and they are set up on the beach as well. (mattk301)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). The staff informed us that there is no smoking on the property including in rooms or on balconies. You can step out to the beach or next door to the parking lot areas for the Sea Pines Beach Club but I was unable to find a "designated area" on the resort property. (mattk301)

Hi we are timeshare owners and will be booking rooms for October 2023, what we want to know is there any discounts for the parks.
