Depends... Do you plan to go out to local restaurants to eat? Or content staying on property. My family prefers staying onsite, WORTH it for our teenagers to eat whatever, whenever and how much they want... Lots of options, something for everyone... We took the shuttle to PB Rose and PB Blanco to experience the amenities, Swimming beach and restaurants there... We definately enjoyed the excurstion but the following year we were totally happy staying at PB Sunset Beach. (owen01)

I've stayed at this property four times, the first time around 2010 and the last time was this past June, 2023. I don't recall ever having poor internet service. During my first three visits, it was springtime (AC not needed) and we were informed that there was construction going on. I assume repairs and upgrades was happening. During those three visits, the units where I stayed were not old or outdated. This year, we were there in the summer time. We had AC and it worked well. The furniture was not outdated and no issues with the internet. The staff was very helpful and he property is very nice. I hope this helps. (marciab179)

No, if you do a 7-night stay, once you've paid your annual maintenance it doesn't cost you a dime when you stay. There is a fee if you want to break your year into a 3-night and a 4-night. (jeffp296)

Atlantis website states the following: “Visit an Aquaventure Guest Services location with your valid room key for towels and Aquaventure wristbands.” This seems to imply that a guest has access for the number of days that they have a valid villa key, even if the stay is shorter than a week (ie 1-6 days). Upon emailing Atlantis I received the following response: "All stays at Atlantis, including Harborside Resort, include access to Aquaventure Water Park, The Dig and The Ruins Aquariums, The Marine Habitats, The Beaches, The Pools and the Casino." We just stayed in a studio at this property for 5 nights since no villas were available. Studio is King size bed; pull-out couch small table with 2 chairs. Kitchenette has mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, toaster, some dishes, and silverware. Balcony has small table and 2 chairs. His and Her small closet; dresser drawers under TV. Stayed in the studio for 5 nights. Ate breakfast and lunch in and made dinner a couple nights using the incredibly clean grilling area that incorporates grilling utensils and sink. (markw1117)

I will be staying at the Sheraton Desert Oasis in early May for 2 weeks and need some transportation to restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. There used to be an onsite shuttle to accommodate vacation owners - anyone know if it is operational or will be? I am hoping to avoid the high cost of a rental car for the full 2 week stay. I believe all Marriott guests have access to all other Marriott vacation club properties, no matter which resort they are staying at. FYI - when I stay at Barony, I like to take a walk on the beach down to Marriott’s Surfwatch, jump in the Oceanside pool to cool off, get a cocktail, and walk back to the Barony. It’s great! Villa la Estancia is not accessible for guests of Palmar and Arco. Whether staying at Palmar or Arco, you must stay on that property for pools etc. However, you can go to restaurants at either resort. Palmar has a buffet with a live show every night...highly recommend any and all of the shows and the buffet changes each night. Other favourite restaurants for me were Carbon (Palmar) where you get a hibachi with all the veggies and meat for two people on your table; Neptune (Arco) absolutely awesome seafood; Tomatillos - Farm to Table (Palmar) and the breakfast buffets are excellent. Timeshares are sold in units of 7 nights, so anything else can be hard to find. In order to book a shorter stay (e.g. your 3 additional nights), an owner would have to wait until after their "owners only" reservation period has passed, which at KOR is 12-8 months prior to arrival date. From under 8 months, shorter stays can be booked, but the view level that the owner originally purchased is not guaranteed. The owner at this point just has to compete on the booking website against owners at other resorts who can book into KOR from 8 to 0 months ahead of arrival. This is not great for owners, obviously, so that is why you will rarely see anything other than multiples of 7 nights for sale on Redweek. (janets24)

Hi- I stayed at 251 recently. I enjoyed it. I have also stayed in 152, 154, and a few on the other side. The balcony view looks out onto Carlitos with a solid amount of beach/ocean view. The safe is broken and needs to be fixed. I dont mind walking up the extra flight of stairs. (timothyk119)

Just stayed here for the third time consecutively (July 29-August 6, 2022). Yes, the washers and dryers are in the units and work very well. We haven't had an issue with them any time we've stayed there and use the dryers especially for towels. (mattk301)

No, you have to stay for at least 3 days to use your points. Unless you choose "Open Season" which lets you pay with cash. Then you can stay for a minimum of 2 days. (johnathanw8)

No, there is not a guest or amenity fee. You will have full access to everything the owner does. When you stay at the resort (whether owner or renting from an owner) you have the same privileges as everyone else staying there. (vickid12)
