Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba - Ocean Suites Reviews & Ratings

We recently purchased a timeshare at this resort and just used it for the first time. In a nutshell, we love it!! Many of the employees have worked at the resort for a number of years and the views are spectacular from the upper floor units. The property is actually split into two separate sections. There is an adults only hotel part of the resort and a separate timeshare portion located on the beach. The property is managed by Marriott and can be booked on their Bonvoy website or thru Interval International and other online sites.

The hotel is across the street from the timeshare resort and is a 5-8 minute walk from one to the other. They also have golf carts and will drive you back and forth if you’d like. The pool at the hotel is very nice and both properties share all amenities (except no kids in the hotel pool) including access to the private island. Most of the restaurants are located in the hotel portion of the property, but Fresco at the timeshare resort has excellent food. There is also a small bar/restaurant by the lagoon/pool and one on the private island. We did see some children wandering around the hotel portion of the property, but I’m not sure if they were just visiting because we were only there for the spa. The private island is wonderful, but we really enjoyed the lagoon and the pool by the beach. The boat that takes you to the private island has a pick up point right in the hotel lobby and runs back and forth every 15 minutes.

The owner timeshare floors are 1, 3 and 5 with floors 2 and 4 being timeshare rooms available to rent. Our unit had a small kitchen with a stovetop, pots/pans/plates and utensils, two mid-size refrigerators, a large bathroom with double sinks and a nice size shower. The bedroom had a king-size bed that was very comfortable and the unit had been remodeled within the past year. We ordered some groceries and often ate breakfast or lunch in the room and then dined out for dinner.

The room was very spacious, super clean and the oceanfront view was fabulous! The cruise ships were so close you could almost touch them as they went out to sea and the sunsets were beautiful. Although the units are a 1/1 bedroom-bath, they have a sofa sleeper for 2 more people. However, if traveling with anyone besides small kids, I’d recommend a second room. The price for drinks, meals and services (spa) were all very reasonable and the service was very friendly and attentive. The location is extremely convenient within walking distance to many places in the downtown area. We've always stayed in the high-rise resorts on Palm Beach, but really liked the change of pace with this property.

The only possible drawback is for people with children. Although the resort does have daily activities, many of them are not geared towards children. While there were kids swimming in the pool or on the beach, the property isn't family focused like some other resorts. Since we weren't travelling with children, no issues at all for us, but something others should keep in mind. Overall, I'd highly recommend this resort.

The staff is absolutely outstanding. The surroundings gorgeous. Although there are great dining options at the resort, the walkability to a variety of dining options, as well as shopping and entertainment options is perfect!

Also, there is brand new gym facility on grounds at the Ocean Suites.

Renaissance Wind Creek really takes great pride in keeping their space relaxing and safe. From the clean pools and restaurants to the full service beach. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Give up my timeshare??? No way!!! I'm guessing that those TV commercials we see in the USA have never been to Aruba and to the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort. Two beautiful swimming pools, a beach area, walking paths along the Ocean, wonderful restaurants within walking minutes from your room and the best Dutch Pancakes 30 steps from the hotel's door. And, access to Renaissance Island (Flamingos) via a boat launch located close to the hotel. If you want more of an adult experience Renaissance Island offers an adult only beach, and you have access to the infinity pool at the Renaissance Hotel across the street (walk or ride the free shuttle). We've been going to Aruba for over 30 years and this is the place to be!

We love, not being in the congestion of the Hotel Strip, the staff treat us like family as we have been staying at this resort since it was built. We have purchased additional units, and would like to sell this unit as I have difficulty navigating to the 5th floor.

Ideal location in center of town right on ocean near the harbor. Free access to their private island for swimming, water sports, spa, gym & Flamingos. Shopping, dining, casinos & museums all within walking distance.

My kids grew up at this hotel. Great for families

I absolutely love Aruba Wind Creek . Waking up stepping out onto the balcony to see the endless turquoise water and white sand was pure paradise. The boat ride to private access Renaissance island. At no additional coast amenities include snorkeling, kayaking, water sports, beach tennis, a spa cove, and a bar and grill The suite itself was spacious , beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the bed was so comfortable that it felt like sleeping on a cloud. I especially appreciated having coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise over the water.

The staff and friendly and cooperative an the one bedroom offers comfort and most kitchen amenities. Great place to stay. Resort also offer all inclusive packages.

The arrival service alone is outstanding especially when you meet Dito, Janice & Linda in the lobby. Welcome drink to perfection. Pool & beach agent Justin will change your day from great to the best. Aqua Zumba Aruba with Anouk & Ismael, the very best. Unlimited immediate access to the exclusive Renaissance Flamingo island with captain Ivan ( a $155 daily value per person). The boat ride with him is already an experience on it's own. This is not a vacation. This is paradise on earth.

Family friendly. It has a very nice private beach which is located in a near by small island. Multiple boats run continually throughout the day to shuttle you to and from the island. Short walk away from shops and restaurants.

Very nice property. Walking distance to fine dining, shopping and entertainment. And the unlimited access to the private island by boat nearly covers the daily cost of lodging. This is a unique experience not matter reason for traveling to Aruba.

From here everything is within reach. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.

My unit is well located on 3rd floor overlooking the pool and Ocean. Every night you enjoy great Sunsets and there are always cruise ships passing along. The private island and beach are very special and tropical. Walk to shops in Oranjestad!

I look forward to each year I visit Aruba and stay at the Renaissance Hotel. The staff are lovely and I love chatting with everyone at the breakfast buffet. The rooms are comfortable and overlooking the pool and the ocean is refreshing. Daily trips to the flamingo island are a must - hammocks, tropical drinks, mangrove to walk through, perfect! I also love the location of the hotel. It's right next to the Marina and there are so many dining options a short walk away. No matter what mood I'm in (family, chill, night out, part time) there is something nearby to fit. I never get bored here and don't think I ever will. Already looking forward to next year's trip!

A lovely Marriott/Renaissance resort located in the best place in town. Walking distance to the best restaurants in Aruba. The highlight is Renaissance Island - a private island exclusively for guests, complete with pink flamingos, white-sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters. Shopping , dining and nightlife are steps away, but it still feels like a private oasis.

Pool and Ocean steps away from Hotel. Beautiful breakfast gazebo surrounded by nature. Great service. Private Flamingo Island, guests have free access by boat, continuous daily service. Same boat service to Renaissance Mall, right accross the way, if u don't wish to walk or take the golf cart. Parking for guests. Casino near hotel. Very convenient location.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and gies out of their way to make you feel at home. The private island is terrific, never too crowded, and one of the most scenic places on the planet.

So much fun. Recommending the all inclusive. Flexiblity of two resorts (adults only/kid friendly) both are excellent resorts, plus the private island. Casino's located next door at the family resort and in the resort at the marina resort.

Best Place in Aruba ! No need to rent a car, short cab ride from the airport. The private island is delightful.
