Timeshare Tips and Opinion on New Public Forum

RedWeek.com adds discussion topics for selling, renting, and exchanging

SEATTLE - January 17, 2007 - A timeshare discussion forum was announced today from RedWeek.com, the online marketplace for timeshare. Thousands of entries are already posted on topics such as how to sell, buy, rent or exchange timeshare, including discussions about point systems and timeshare companies. Owners and travelers are participating to tell stories — both good and bad — and swap tips for how to get the most out of timeshare. Users can read entries and contribute by posting feedback or starting a new subject.

Most submissions range from basic to advanced levels of information with fun and controversial topics being discussed. Forum users are sharing their choices for nearby favorite restaurants, activities and events in the resort areas. Others are making comments to resort managers for both problems and praise.

"Fellow timeshare owners are excited to connect with others from their resorts to discuss mutual interests and experiences," says Forums Manager Marty Farmer.

In addition to the major timeshare subjects in the forum, each of 5,075 timeshare resorts on RedWeek.com has its own separate discussion area that can be reached via the "Discuss" link on the respective resort pages. The Web site also has over 10,000 user submitted ratings and reviews for timeshare resorts around the world.

To view or participate in any discussion forum, visit the main forums page at: http://www.redweek.com/forums. Anyone can read the forums, but to create a topic or post a reply, you need to be registered which can be done for free.

With the free registration visitors to RedWeek.com can view resort ratings, photos, descriptions and availability. For $9.99, one can upgrade to member status and contact other members regarding timeshare rental or sale postings. Timeshare owners can post their unit for rent for $19.99 for a six-month period or resale for $49.99 for a full year.
