How can you determine between a week ownership and points ownership?

Week ownerships are deeded properties, so you get a deed when you buy it, I don't believe points weeks are deeded.

You would need to view the posting details to see if points are mentioned. You can also contact the owner or agent through the posting and ask if the resale is a point ownership.
