Riptide Beach Club is a hidden gem—an older, smaller independent timeshare nestled at the feet of surrounding high-rises. It doesn't have the newest decor or a huge list of resort amenities, but it also avoids the noise, crowds, and expense that come with them.

What it does have is two inviting pools, an uncrowded beach, large comfortable suites, and a friendly, responsive staff. It also features arguably the best location in all of Myrtle Beach, just a short stroll from the famous Sea Captain's House restaurant and the beautiful oceanfront residences along North Ocean Boulevard.

Our family loves coming here, and it has given our children and grandchildren some of their most cherished memories. Riptide is a wonderful way for families—and anyone seeking a relaxing getaway—to enjoy all that Myrtle Beach has to offer: great dining, local attractions, wonderful surf, and long, unhurried walks along the shore.

I spent a week at this timeshare and it was very nice. It is right on the beach. Parking is tight, but you can live with it. The townhouses are much better than the regular rooms, no beach view in the townhome, but worth it.
