This is an amazing resort - right in the Hotel Zone of Cancun! Walking distance to shops, clubs, restaurants! Oceanfront and so BEAUTIFUL! The staff is awesome and the rooms are perfect. The onsite restaurants have the best food and service you could ask for.

Great location at the tip of Cancun as the beach is bit more private. Close/walking distance to nice restaurants, dance club and shops. Huge shopping mall with great stores just 10-15min walk or quick cab ride away. Staff is great and pleasant and always set to meet your needs. Depending on room you get, they are spacious and can fit a family of 6 in the 2 bedroom, which has a kitchen, dining room and living room. Massage was amazing and food was fantastic.

A very reasonable priced hotel right in the middle of the Coco Bongo district. The convenance of having a large grocery store, Súper Chedraui, in walking distance cannot be highlighted enough. Location is perfect for excursions. Nice pool, nice rooms-the staff is friendly and helpful. The food wasn't bad, but we prefer the grocery store which is so close and their bakery is very inexpensive. There is a flea market very close as well.

Staying with Krystal was an overall good experience. Resort was in good shape, good amenities. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again or send friends Krystal's way.

We've stayed at the Krystal on 3 different occasions and have had just a great time on all 3 visits. The place isn't the newest or flashiest place on the strip, but for us it is a great choice to enjoy our family vacations. The rooms were very nice and clean, I love the little deck for a quiet morning coffee spot and a great people watching perch in the afternoon. We used the kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and pre and post-dinner happy hour. There are too many great restaurants within walking distance to get the all-inclusive. It's been a couple years since the beach was restored, it's still wide and beautiful and the beach combers are still having a field day with cool stuff they find along the surf zone. The surf is perfect for body surfing and the beach huts make the beach the place to hangout all day. We love the view from the hot tub and the proximity to the outside bar!

The lobby was updated and looks very nice and we noticed that the lobby bar was updated too, the same good service from the staff hasn't changed in the 4 years we've been coming down to the Krystal. We visited the property in April while staying somewhere else in Cancun and we were treated so well as visitors that we've decided to rent the other place and stay at the Krystal whenever we travel to Cancun!

Great beach, OK pool, good rooms, and great service. Keeps us coming back. Having all of the fun clubs just out the front door, keeps the vacations from getting boring :)

Wonderful pool, large beach, remodeled rooms, comfy beds, daily towel service, ...Wonderful service. Elevators...Many units with views.

In November 2010 we stayed again. While not a luxury facility, Krystal Cancun has the best location on the "strip" and the best beachfront. We expect to continue to stay there at least every other year.

The Krystal Cancun is a dump! I was very disappointed in my timeshare rental when I got to this resort. I cannot even name everything that is wrong with the place! We were placed in the very old/outdated section where the windows didn't lock, the door to the hall barely closed, metal items were covered in rust (good thing I had my tetnus shot), the bed was hard as a rock, the room safe didn't work and I wouldn't even get in the shower. When we called to get our safe battery changed, they said they would send someone right up...well this went on for 3 days before we just gave up.

The hot tub didn't work, the elevators stop on every floor, the food was overpriced, the staff unresponsive, they never did any of the activities at the pool that were posted for the day.

I would rate this as my worst hotel experience ever. I'm going back to cruising!

The units are new, clean, spacious and well equipped. Our stay was pleasent and relaxing, you are within a short walk to many of the local nightclubs, restaurants and shopping.

The Beach was just restored along with a new jetti in front of the hotel that allows for protected swimming in the ocean. The beach is gorgeous and now extends about 100 meters past the hotel beach wall.

We visited this resort for a timeshare sale. The resort exterior is beautiful, though not exceptional compared with other hotels in the area. The location is good- close to everything. The beach is a narrow strip of sand that gets completely washed away with high tide. During the day, it's okay. The rooms that we saw were very modern and sterile looking. They were not very big as timeshares go. Food was of average quality; price was not inexpensive.

DO NOT BUY timeshare through developer. Our sale went from $50,000+ to $3,000. We later found out that our purchase was bogus after we could not use our membership as promised after the 90-day registration period (as written in the fine print) We left numerous messages without getting any response, Email address was un-deliverable, website (KIVC) did not work. When we called ICE Gallery with our member number (since all other numbers were not valid) we were told that our member number belonged to someone else. Since we had filed a dispute with AMEX within 60days after purchase, we got our refund when AMEX could not get a response from the developer.

We own three other timeshares and this place looked and sounded legitimate, but we were fooled. This might be a good place to rent if you can get a good deal, but buyer beware!

We just got back from the Krystal and it was wonderful. Beautiful pool area, spacious rooms and great location. Beach is small but private and my kids had a blast playing in the waves for hours. The rooms had a gorgeous view of the ocean and we fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves. We didn't do the all-inclusive plan and there was plenty of of good food for all different price ranges within walking distance. We loved it

I can only say that the people who rated this resort less than 3 stars must have stayed there after the hurricane. My stay in 2005 was simply wonderful and relaxing. Otherwise I would not have purchased timeshare there. The scenery is gorgeous, overlooking the beach, and everything is close by and convenient.

We stayed at this resort recently and loved it! Wonderlul beach, white sand, great pool, good food and it is in the middle of everything. The resort is at walking distance of the hottest spots in town. A must for everyone!

There is no beach. was washed away. hotel was dirty. timeshare sales went from initial offer of 49,900 down to last ditch 2900. good location for nightlife. hotel probably a tear down.

On beach and very laid back. Good food.Would come back.This guy that gave it a one star must have stayed at a different place or not paid his bill.Cheddar must think if you paid for a dumpster you get a suite.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Ocean views are fabulous. White powder sand beach with pools sets above. Walking to distance to everything. Rooms are a little tired but comfortable. Not much time spent inside with due to the wonderful views and weather. Lovely casual restuarant overlooking the beach. Great time.

This was a conveniently located resort. Close to shopping, clubs, transportation. The beaches were gorgeous. The service was exceptional. The view was breath taking. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and found the timeshare sales people friendly and helpful.

If you like the view of an alley and dumpsters with disco music blaring all night definitely go to this resort. The unit we stayed in had mildew on the ceiling and the kitchen? had cupboard doors falling off.It was a complete dump even though it is rated as a gold crown by RCI. Also, the timeshare sales are unbelievably pushy, we were threatened by them! This is the worst resort I have ever stayed at and will never return!
