  • See my notes, excellent office employees, excellent service. I love our unit nearly on the top of the hill, surrounded by trees and calm.

This is our first visit to Foxhunt and we love it!!! The units are the largest, most comfortable we have ever enjoyed. The resort itself has lots of great activities--we just returned from a Thai cooking class. Don't miss the nature walk with Wendy to learn the plants used by the Cherokee for food and medicine. And her mountain stories and songs around the campfire. There's also a flute and drum participation evening, various crafts, and that's just at the resort! Note: much of this goes for the Wyndham resort that shares all the amenities. Update: We still love this place after five years. Some of the activities no longer happen, but there's a Mexican night (excellent) and a barbecue. And Wendy still leads the nature walk. The indoor pool and hot tubs are the perfect temperature, and a nine-hole golf course for $40 ALL WEEK. We highly recommend the Sapphire Brewery restaurant--great early bird specials weeknights, and some 100 different (some really different) beers.

Have been coming here for several years during the winter. Units are spacious and well maintained. Fireplace is a plus. The area is beautiful and very peaceful. Resort has it all, golf, indoor pool, activities, skiiing in winter- you name it.

Cashiers is a quaint town with wonderful restaurants. Highlands, 10 miles away, is also beautiful and has wonderful shopping. Many places to hike and waterfalls to see!

One of the most beautiful areas I've ever witnessed. The units are very spacious and are surrounded by woods and hills and are ideal for relaxing. All units have wood burning fireplaces. The resort has many amenities and scheduled activities inlcuding trips to NOC whitewater rafting, Highlands, N.C., Biltmore mansion in Asheville, magnificent waterfalls and tours to other areas of interest. You can paddle around in canoes or hike the perimeter of the big lake at Sapphire. There's also a smaller lake at FoxHunt for fishing from a pier. They offer snow skiing in winter. A perfect year round vacation destination.

Very nice area with some beautiful views. The units are located in a secluded area with surrounding forest and a private meadow lake next to the Horsepasture River. It is one of the most relaxing places I know.
