Is there a difference between condo and hotel?

Requesting to rent a 2 bedroom condo, but wasn’t sure if we’d receive the same privileges as renting the hotel rooms. Just curious if condo is as nicely decor, we do like the idea of having our family in a same place, like home. Any responses are appreciated.
