The Royal Resorts are private. You must be staying at the Resort to use any of the resort's restaurants. That is the reason that cash is not allowed. There is a happy hour after around 3:00 each day. There is a discount for the restaurant across the street called Captain's Cove It is owned by the Royal Resorts and is open to the public. There is a discount at the Hacienda Sisal which is located by the Royal Sands. You may use any of the Royal Resort facilities. The resort provides free transportation between the resorts. There are three located together. The Royal Sands is located by a shopping mall. The meals are reasonably price and the food is excellent at all the resorts. There is a grocery store located at each resort. You can request that your frig is stocked for you with requested items before you arrive if you wish. The cheapest groceries are those with hispanic brands, not American. We find most are as good if not better than American. You will love the employees that are all so helpful and fun people. We own two units at this resort and love it.
