Just a quick response to the idea of "giving back" something for DRI to resell; My understanding (simplistically stated) of how timeshare ownership/membership works is the same as a gym membership in that there are no finite number of memberships or points that exist to sell. They can sell until kingdom come, which especially makes sense when you own points, and therefore there's nothing "real" that is being given back. I own points, not real estate. If DRI folds, than so do my points unless some other developer/management buys it.
