The very "nice" salesman told me there is no way to give these to charity and also told me I can use the loss as tax write off.[/Q] The only charity I would recommend is Donate for a Cause, however if they think they can't resale it they will not take it. Also, they charge a large upfront fee and if the ownership is not transferred to a new buyer then the ownership will remain under your name with all dues expected to be paid by you. What you can do is list it as a free timeshare in the bargain basements of both Redweek and Tug .... it will get greater attention if you pay for closing.
