As I am getting up in years, I am no longer able to do much traveling and therefore cannot use my timeshare points every year. In the past couple of years, I have used my points to pay part of my maintenance fees. However, this year, without any advance warning, when I called to do that, I was told that feature is no longer available!!! So I had to pay the full fee, which has of course gone up again. When I asked why the feature was no longer available, I was told that members complained that it was not useful!! That makes no sense to me at all!!! It sounds like just one more way of making sure they get more money!
