No, it's not legitimate .... it's all BS from a resort developer sales person. You can buy the exact same product on the resale market for pennies on the dollar. Until you have researched the subject of timeshare ownership backwards and forwards and the ins and outs then I recommend that you do not purchase until you are well informed and educated on the subject. BTW, RCI doesn't sell timeshares .... the are merely a timeshare exchange company.
