They honestly have no shame and could care less if it affects you financially or psychologically. Please hang up immediately when anyone calls you to say that they can sell or rent your timeshare. If you don't hang up, you will be scammed again. The truth is that legally, you can actually just stop paying your maintenance fees and nothing will happen to your credit score. [/Q] Which scam are you referring to? You mention three different ones. The first is the developer sales presentation. The second is the upfront fee resale/rental scam. The third is the "Let us cancel your timeshare for you" ploy.
