Thanks for the warning but this scam attempt is nothing new. It's been discussed here on these forums for years now. Each scam might have a few different twists to it but the pattern is the same: An unexpected telemarketing call; an offer to sell or rent out your unit for way above market value; a promise to do it or your money back; some sort of fee or tax that must be paid. And almost any timeshare that you buy at a presentation (not just Vidante) will lose the majority of what you paid when you try to re-sell it.
