Re: Interval International / (by SP T.):

I would dispute about 'lowly' Orlando. I bought my 2-bdrm lockoff timeshare in 1997 directly from Sheraton (developer), in 'lowly' Orlando. I was a total newbie, didn't have a clue what is a high trading value timeshare vs. a low one. Todate I have no complaints about it, always banked in as 2 weeks of 1 bedroom each year, giving me 2 weeks of exchanges each year Examples of high value trades - I have traded into Manhatten Club in NY (2 yrs ago)-thru RCI and going to Cancun (2-bdrm Westin)-thru II next year. If I were to do it differently, I would have bought it from resale market for next to nothing. But still, no regrets. The value of what I have traded into is much greater than then $1100 maintenance fee that I pay each year.
