belaire golf resort and spa (by Kathleen P.):

We also bought at the Belaire in 2007 and found out for sure that we were scammed while there this past March, nothing was there but a security guard and lots of weeds growing. Up to this point we still had some hope. While in PV this year we found a man named Michael Black who works for Universal Vacation & Consolidation Company as a purchasing agent and is a lawyer? maybe. He has told us he can help us cash out the Belaire property somehow through UVC an American bulk holding company located in Texas and Canada as well as the Caymans. He recently e-mailed us forms from this company guaranteeing the purchase of our Belaire property for the amount of $91,740.00/ appraisal value in current year 2012: $138,397.00 upon the agreement that seller covers administration and services fees of $2795.00. Final funding will take place within 90 days after receiving proof of ownership weeks. Supposedly this is sold to Universal Vacation & Consolidation Company and they make money by retaining the difference in the present equity value and what we receive and that he has already done this for others. We would love to believe it but are skeptical as no one seems to have gotten any money back except from the credit card co. or directly from the developer when forced. Wondering if there is anyway to find out if he is a lawyer in Mexico. He also says he practices in the US as well and that is what we need to settle this situation. Also when we were there this year we were in contact with a friend who lives there and knows of :Antonio" who said that he has had two strokes and a heart attack and that one of his sons died in a car crash. Not sure if this is just a local rumor being spread or not. We also ran into Antonios "cousin" Nico who sold to us. He has been hired by the Mayan to work in sales for members. We made the manager there have Nico come over to our table so we could ask him about the Belaire. All he said was that he is in the same boat as we are, that he invested too and we just all have to be very patient until the new owners Hotel U buy us all out. I asked him what exactly did Antonio sell. His answer was "he sold the rights to build the only casino in the PV area, the only one of its kind." Not sure if he was conned as well but we think he knew exactly who Antonio was but who knows. We were very surprised to see him working at the Mayan where he might well come in contact with people that bought at the Belaire as quite a few Mayan owners did. Well anyway let me know what is involved in the class action suit and any other info would be appreciated. Thank you, Kathy P.
