I am just responding to alexp83's remark about the Mayan. We just upgraded our Mayan to Grand Mayan and now I am wondering if that was a mistake. It made dollar sense to do this as now we have no maintenance fees and no fees due every 5 years which over time adds up to a lot. Is there any more info out there concerning the Mayan/ Vida vacations that we should be aware of. We have to pay off the balance soon and it is @ $8000.00. We like the Mayan and feel that at least they give you what you pay for but we don't particularly trust them either. thanks
