The choices you have now will very likely not change. Diamond will pressure you to join The Club and also expect maintenance fees to go up. Diamond tends to buy properties needing some TLC and raises fees to upgrade them to their standards. When they took over Sunterra we were shocked at the maint fee raises but the upgrades to the resorts was worth it.
