if you make a reservation for a renter, you should ask for some sort of deposit before making a reservation. Some owners require that, before a reservation is made, the renter pays the full amount (usually via Pay Pal).

I know the timeshare market can be discouraging but make sure you are pricing your rental competitively. And do not fall for those scam operations that claim they can get you big bucks for your rental.
