hey guys mi name is Enea I don't have any interest with these folks at tugs but the forums looks pretty bad to me. I was trying to look for more information about the hotel (fractional?) bellaire.

they are arda members, i'll try to get their affiliation or register

They actually has this url www.belairevacationclub.com/belaire/press.html http://camara-1.belairevacationclub.com http://camara-2.belairevacationclub.com

was very funny when i read about the cameras, people thinks they are fake. in my point of view the systems guys don't know how to use their cameras, showing the manufacturer default page. i'll keep you update . E. Restrikut Consultant

It seems every thread started on Tug concerning Belaire is closed by a moderator ... I don't get it, one thread has 250+ posts and 11,000 views. Why would a moderator close a thread that has so much interest just because discussion can get heated (they need to target the abusers). Closing a thread because of a few malcontents punishes everyone else that has an interest in that resort. I was under the impression discussion of timeshare resorts (good, bad, ugly) was the purpose of Tug ... evidently not.

I can access both camera 1 & 2. Today at 2.30 pm CST I can count and see 15 people working in the site... what I see if much different from what they show on the Belaire web site. You can contact me if you want to know how to access the cams.

Check the source code of their web site page and you can identify the link to view both cams live. I selected the Java option for viewing and it works great. J-C

As much as I like Tug and spend most of my time there you are right!

For one thing they have to many different moderators with different opinions.

It gets like they have a contest in who can move or delete or just close a subject.

I have seen different moderators disagree with each other on their own statements and opinions.

Tug needs to be careful that they don't just let any body become a moderator just because they want to.

Rules are needed but over-kill is not good for any forum.

Normally, DaveM is the fairest moderator at Tug, but why he and other moderators keep closing the Belaire threads is beyond my comprehension since there's SO much interest there. I hope he hasn't let his moderator position go to his head now that he's retired and has more time on his hands.

good point, As a general comment for all timeshare customers always check your budget, because some clauses at any contract may state that you have to Comply with a time range before cancellation. I just sent an email to ARDA and still cross fingered to receive belaire's membership information.

I just talked to Nico today and he is in PV. He informed me that they just started pouring concrete for the next 12 hours to finish the foundation of building # 1. We should see major results by October 15th! Check the concrete pouring progress here: http://camara-1.belairevacationclub.com:81/Jview.htm The camera is live and refreshes automatically every few seconds. He also told me that the TUG discussion board had been closed upon request of the Belaire Lawyers. Apparently the bashers were vendors and Gran Mayan members....To be verified

This is what I find on the ARDA web site concerning the Belaire resort. It says: Corporate Member Directory Current as of Tuesday, September 30, 2008 Here is the link: http://www.arda.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Corporate_Dir

Hey thanks for notifying us as to why all Belaire threads have been closed on Tug upon request of Belaire lawyers.

I'm surprised Tug complied with that request. Tug is a discussion site related to all facets of timesharing. Tug's owner doesn't necessarily agree with all posts made by the membership, just as Redweek's owner does not, but he allows those posts as a matter of free speech.

There have been numerous Tug threads maligning certain resorts/developers over the years .... some by a Tug moderator himself who refers to Westgate as Wastegate and he has been allowed to refer to that deveopment in that context so many times I've lost count.

Many satisfied Westgate owners have been turned off by the continuous bashing, especially from a moderator. I'm surprised a satisfied Westgate owner hasn't forwarded all those bashing posts to Westgate's CEO, hence a lawsuit could very well develop.

If Tug feels threatened by lawsuits then they need to advise all members not to bash any resort for any reason because it can come back to haunt Tug, it would seem, according to the request of Belaire lawyers to close all Belaire threads, that was obliged by Tug.

I just saw that the Belaire thread is re-opened again today. Don't know why but the new comments don't come from bashers... so far!

I had sent an email to Brian (owner of Tug) and DaveM (moderator who closed the last Belaire thread) due to a few poster's irate comments and that it wasn't fair to punish the non-violators. The thread had almost 300 posts with 11,500+ views showing a VAST amount of interest (I don't think I had ever seen a thread with that many views on Tug).

Also there had been questions being asked on Redweek concerning Belaire and I had posted the link to Tug's latest thread here, then the thread was closed.

Tug did the right thing by re-opening with strict rules to any violators.

Attention Every One http://www.redweek.com/forums/messages?thread_id=14016 I've been reading about this case in a bounch of forums. These are the results: Tugbbs problem now is having a very large list of comments with information that is not real for, sure has been placed or published by:

1)People that went trough a not very pleasant

presentation or. 2)"Competitors" YES COMPETITORS as timeshare

industry is just like that everyone wanna make

money.

Unfortunately tug does not have a control over the information on the web site and I consider very important to certified all the comments, speaking about a hotel. Ensuring all the comments come from at least someone related to the propertie "memberers", with this you get cleaner comments and more trustable. My point: Moderators on this site should put all of his attention on this matter, as far I can see, propertie image its been seriusly affected wich is the case of belaire golf and spa scam rippoff or whatever else’s.

Be a critic on this play

Since another topic was started ignoring the request of a previous admin, and since this topic has been wildly popular...this thread is open again (ill merge the other one here in a second)

To address some "rumors" I can assure you that this thread was closed for NO other reason than people could not follow the be courteous rule, that is the #1 cause of threads being closed here...period.

Speaking your personal opinion is covered by free speech, completely and totally. Those that think differently are welcome to argue it but will have zero success.

Our only stipulation to your free speech right, is that you must remain courteous while doing so.

From now on in this thread, anyone not following that rule will have their post 100% removed. not just the violating line or comment.

Our moderators and admin staff are not babysitters, you are all adults and all agreed to the posting guidelines during registration here.

If you failed to read them, or chose to flat out ignore them, your posting priviledges will be suspended. __________________ Brian Rogers - Owner Timeshare Users Group

If it walks like a Duck ( scam) and talks like a Duck( scam) then it probably is a Duck ( scam) and the Belaire project walks and talks like a duck.

For those that care to read all the shill activity and lies that they have told promoting the project, along with the mud they slung against several long time tug posters, here the threads in date order.

Then it started here

The went to

The Belaire threads should never have been closed to begin with .... the offenders needed to have been dealt with (reprimands or deletions by moderators) instead of closing entire threads.

Yes, another thread had been started AFTER moderator DaveM asked for that not to occur .... but there is just too much interest in Belaire to not be discussed in a timeshare forum. It was just a matter of time before someone started a new thread.

Anyway, glad that Brian permitted it to be re-opened.

HI EVERY ONE,

THIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN NUEVO VALLARTA IS A COMPLETE FRAUD!! STARTING FROM THE NAME

THEY TOOK THE NAME OF "BELAIRE", AND THIS NAME THAT DOESN´T BELONG TO THEM, THEY DON´T HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE THAT NAME.

THEY ARE TARNISHING THE NAME OF A REAL HOTEL CHAIN THAS IS NOT RALEATED IN ANY SENSE WITH THIS FRAUD, AND THIS IS NOT FAIR, THE REAL BELAIR IS A SMALL AND CUTE BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN CANCUN (www.belaircollection.com) AND I REPEAT THERE IS NOT RELATION WITH THIS FRAUDULENT AND DISHONEST COMPANY.

THE HOTEL IN CANCUN HAS PROPERLY REGISTERED, YEARS AGO, THE NAME IN THE "IMPI" (INSTITUTO MEXICANO DE LA PROPIEDAD INDUSTRIAL).

IT IS A SHAME, BUT THIS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS GOING AGAINST THE LAW IN MANY WAYS.

I HOPE THE LAW CAN DO SOMETHING TO FINISH WITH THIS COMPLETE FRAUD.
