owner rentals

how do I go about renting our timeshare? I have an inquiry, do I have to first call the place or can I as an owner just book it?

If you own the week (not an exchange) then you can rent it yourself (you are not allowed to rent an exchange from RCI or II) ..... print out a rental agreement (search forums for such) signed by both you and the rentee that spells out all the terms of the rental .... then when everything is complete with the rental agreement you then call the resort and give them the name of the rentee for your week.
