Hello! The water adjacent to the resort is quite treacherous consideringthe way you need to climb down the lava rocks so swimming is not advised,but just walk down Ali'i Drive 15 minutes to Kahalu’u Beach Park. Thewater is calm which makes it ideal to snorkel. I have seen more speciesfish and turtles at this location, than on any paid snorkeling excursionthat I have been on around the big island if Hawaii.
