Description

Set among 36 holes of championship golf, with views of the fabulous Pacific Ocean and colorful tropical gardens, Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village is a vacationer's paradise. This timeshare resort offers spacious one- and two- bedroom vacation condos. One-bedroom units sleep four with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. Two-bedroom units sleep six with a king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. All units are complete with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and washer/dryer.

On-site at the Holua Resort, enjoy eight swimming pools and whirlpools, five world-class tennis courts, a modern fitness facility, and activities such as hula lessons and lei making. The resort is also adjacent to Kauhou Bay's private harbor with access to many boating activities and water sports. The downtown area is only a five minute drive for a day of shopping, eating, and soaking in the Hawaiian culture.

While in Hawaii, stop at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory for a tour. At the Macadamia Nut Factory you will view the nut shelling process as well as the making of the chocolate covered nuts that are so popular. See the mature trees on a nature walk and best of all - you get to sample the product.

Georgeous resort. With centralized underground parking and beautiful pathways (golf cart transportation readily available if you don't want to walk), the units are clustered into pods with water ponds, fountains and eight swimming pools. BBQ pits and jacuzzi's are conveniently located throughout the resort. The staff is very pleasant and accomodating. There are petroglyphs on site and the beginnings of a natural botanical garden. Truely a great stay. One caution, stay away from the sales presentation. The sales staff is very pushy and didn't seem to understand "not interested."
